About the cottage U Ceďora

The cottage was completed in 2015. The idea to build a log house that we could rent out was born in the head of my husband, who did not hesitate for a long time and enthusiastically set about setting up everything that is needed for the construction of such an object. We started the construction work in 2013. A year later, in 2014, the rough construction was finished and we slowly planned the furnishing of the interiors. Unfortunately, during the holidays this year, my husband became seriously ill and all other plans fell by the wayside. The illness was serious and my husband died after two months at the age of 37. It was a very difficult period, but with the help of my family and close friends, I finished the construction. Our dream became a reality and from 1.1. In 2016, I was able to welcome the first visitors. This cottage is dedicated to my husband. It bears the mysterious name U Ceďora for many. Where did it come from? My husband's name was Jakub. However, all his friends and comrades called him nothing but Ceďor. I also recognized him by this nickname when we met. Therein lies the secret of the original and unusual name of cottage U Ceďora. Now I manage the cottage together with my partner, a friend and a family friend. And you can enjoy it as it is. There is a piece of my husband, me and my current partner.

Welcome U Ceďora

If you long for a great family holiday in nature, the charming half-timbered cottage U Ceďora is the ideal choice. It was completed at the end of 2015 and is located in the quiet Broumovské outcrop near the village of Velké Petrovice.

From the parking lot, a small path leads straight to the cottage, which has a wonderful homely atmosphere from the first impression. We will welcome you at the agreed time, explain everything, show you around and hand over the keys. The fully equipped kitchen will provide you with excellent facilities for preparing meals, and if you don't feel like cooking, you can walk to a nearby restaurant.

Eight people can be comfortably accommodated in the cottage and it is possible to add two extra beds. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, a living room with a kitchen unit, a dining area and a dominant green stove, behind which it is great to laze around. Upstairs there are three bedrooms - two double and one four-bed. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower for guests.
