The cottage was finished in 2015. The idea to build a timber cottage for rent was first imagined by my husband. He didn’t hesitate for long and with enthusiasm, he got down to organising everything required for the construction. Construction work started in 2013. One year later, in 2014, the basic structure was completed and after that we began planning the interior design. Unfortunately, in the summer the same year my husband started facing a serious illness so our priorities shifted. Sadly, the illness was so intense that my husband finally left us at the age of 37. Naturally, this period was very difficult for me, but I managed to finish the construction with the help of my family and close friends. Our dream came true, and I have been able to welcome our guests since 1st January 2016. This cottage is dedicated to my husband. The name might sound unusual. So where did it come from? My husband’s name was Jakub although among his friends he was called Ceďor. When I met him, he had already been nicknamed. Now you know the secret of the original name of our cottage. I currently run the cottage with my partner and family friend in one. You can enjoy the cottage as it is- a magical blend of something from my husband, me and my current partner.
